The below approaches are best suited for those who are interested in depth, willing to engage actively, and open to being challenged in service of meaningful change.
Schema Therapy
Schema therapy is central to my work. Schemas are longstanding emotional and cognitive patterns that develop early in life and continue to influence relationships, self-worth, and coping. In therapy, we identify these patterns, understand their origins, and notice how they become active in the present. The goal is not to remove parts of you, but to develop greater awareness, flexibility, and choice.
EMDR
I also use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help process unresolved or overwhelming experiences that continue to shape emotional reactions and beliefs. EMDR supports the nervous system in integrating these experiences, often reducing the intensity of triggers and creating space for new responses.
Relational & Experiential Work
Change happens through experience, not insight alone. I pay attention to emotional states and relational patterns as they arise in the room, using the therapeutic relationship as part of the work itself. This allows new ways of relating, to yourself and others, to be practiced over time.
